recovery is possible.
WHAT WE DO
Kayla Jessop Nutrition provides personalized guidance to help you achieve a balanced and healthy relationship with food. We specialize in:
- Transitioning clients from chaotic to structured, and ultimately, intuitive eating.
- Implementing the "All Foods Fit" model to remove food restrictions.
- Reducing disordered eating behaviors and improving body image.
- Enhancing awareness of hunger and satiety signals.
- Developing strategies to manage emotional and stress-related eating.
Our Services
Individual Nutrition Counseling
Our mission is to help you free yourself from our culture’s toxic messages about what we “should” eat and how we “should” look.
Meal Support
Currently, we provide virtual meal support sessions for both adults and adolescents. Through meal support, fear around meals and the recovery process will decrease. You will gain trust in yourself and strengthen your recovery voice, feeling empowered to make the best choices for your ongoing recovery.
RO DBT Skills Class
RO DBT helps those with "overcontrol" – excessive self-control that leads to issues like perfectionism and emotional inhibition. Kayla, with NYC RO DBT experience, now offers this therapy in Utah, especially beneficial for eating disorders. Learn more.
Group Support
Combine the power of community with the therapeutic act of cooking. Through group sessions, you'll not only discover you're not alone in your journey, but also use shared culinary experiences to explore your relationship with food, build confidence, and cultivate mindful healing.
Higher Level of Care Consultants
Many treatment centers and healthcare facilities encounter clients struggling with eating disorders, yet may not have the specialized expertise or resources to fully support them. At Kayla Jessop Nutrition, we bridge that gap by offering professional, evidence-based eating disorder care tailored to your setting.
Supervision
Providing education and consultation for therapists, dietitians, and other staff to ensure safe, informed, and compassionate care.

FAQs
-
KJN is an out of network provider:
We do not participate in insurance panels so we can provide prompt, personalized care for each of our clients.
Our dietitians cap the number of clients they see each week to ensure time and energy are allocated to each individual and their specific needs.
if you have out-of-network coverage for nutrition counseling, we can send you superbills so that you can seek reimbursement.
We use a third party App called Reimbursifythat is free for our clients to use. This app was designed to make insurance reimbursement quick and easy.
If you're unsure about your coverage please click on the “Verify Insurance Reimbursement” button that is located on the top right hand corner of the home page! (some smaller insurance plans are not programmed into the app and therefore will not come up with a conclusive response). OR we can walk you through how to go about calling your insurance company and asking if they cover the CPT codes 97802 and 97803 for out-of-network nutrition services.

it's our goal to provide sustainable services for folks, as research shows that consistent sessions are the most effective.
We also believe that providing a sliding scale invites us to take inventory of our financial resources and look deeper at our level of privilege as a way to challenge the classist and capitalist society we live in.
Please consider the following steps:
schedule a call with one of our RD’s to learn about the cost of sessions
check on your out of network eligibility using the Reimbursify veri-fast link (blue button that reads “use your insurance”)
if you do not have out of network benefits, we encourage you to call your insurance to see if a single case agreement could be established.
if your insurance is not willing to provide any help with the cost of nutrition therapy sessions, please ask to see our sliding scale options to help you establish a sustainable payment amount
if you are eligible for out of network reimbursement, file your claims using our personalized link here:
