Our Services
Individual Nutrition Counseling
We provide one-on-one nutrition counseling for clients ages 5 and up, supporting each individual in building a peaceful, nourishing relationship with food. Whether you're healing from disordered eating, working toward intuitive eating, or navigating medical nutrition needs, we offer compassionate, personalized care rooted in evidence-based practices..
Meal Support
Currently, we provide virtual meal support sessions for both adults and adolescents. Through meal support, fear around meals and the recovery process will decrease. You will gain trust in yourself and strengthen your recovery voice, feeling empowered to make the best choices for your ongoing recovery.
RO DBT Skills Class
Designed for individuals with an overcontrolled temperament, this 30-week class helps participants build skills in openness, flexibility, and genuine connection. Ideal for those who identify as perfectionistic, emotionally inhibited, or overly rigid, the class reopens every 10 weeks and offers a supportive space to practice new ways of engaging with the world.
Group Support
We offer virtual group support throughout the year based on the needs of our clients and community. From groups for parents and caregivers to those looking for extra support in their intuitive eating journey, our groups create a space for connection, learning, and shared healing. Keep an eye out for upcoming offerings or reach out to learn more!
Higher Level of Care Consultants
We offer engaging, evidence-based presentations on nutrition and eating disorders, available virtually or in person within our practice areas. Whether you're a group of professionals, students, or a community organization, we’re happy to present on popular topics we’ve covered before—or collaborate to create something tailored to your needs

FAQs
-
KJN is an out of network provider:
We do not participate in insurance panels so we can provide prompt, personalized care for each of our clients.
Our dietitians cap the number of clients they see each week to ensure time and energy are allocated to each individual and their specific needs.
if you have out-of-network coverage for nutrition counseling, we can send you superbills so that you can seek reimbursement.
We use a third party App called Reimbursifythat is free for our clients to use. This app was designed to make insurance reimbursement quick and easy.
If you're unsure about your coverage please click on the “Verify Insurance Reimbursement” button that is located on the top right hand corner of the home page! (some smaller insurance plans are not programmed into the app and therefore will not come up with a conclusive response). OR we can walk you through how to go about calling your insurance company and asking if they cover the CPT codes 97802 and 97803 for out-of-network nutrition services.

it's our goal to provide sustainable services for folks, as research shows that consistent sessions are the most effective.
We also believe that providing a sliding scale invites us to take inventory of our financial resources and look deeper at our level of privilege as a way to challenge the classist and capitalist society we live in.
Please consider the following steps:
schedule a call with one of our RD’s to learn about the cost of sessions
check on your out of network eligibility using the Reimbursify veri-fast link (blue button that reads “use your insurance”)
if you do not have out of network benefits, we encourage you to call your insurance to see if a single case agreement could be established.
if your insurance is not willing to provide any help with the cost of nutrition therapy sessions, please ask to see our sliding scale options to help you establish a sustainable payment amount
if you are eligible for out of network reimbursement, file your claims using our personalized link here:
